Autodesk Inventor a tool for future Inventors

Despite the fact that, Global economic crisis has creeped into every walks of life, Architecture, Engineering, Construction and many more areas. It would take certian time recover from all loses. However I would like to make a serious note here is the way Autodesk Inventor is progressing even under times of global crisis.

Even before I would like to continue my talk, I would like to thank John Walker (Autodesk Founder) & his team mates a big thanks for providing Autodesk to the CAD World

Autodesk Inventor, developed by U.S.-based software company Autodesk, is 3D parametric solid modeling software for creating 3D mechanical models. Autodesk Inventor is the foundation for the digital prototyping solution at Autodesk. Autodesk Inventor competes with SolidWorks, CATIA, SIEMENS-NX, Pro/ENGINEER, and SolidEdge.

I now understand why Inventor Beat versions are named after various Inventors and scientist

I have been using Autodesk Inventor since Release 5.0 and today Inventor 2010 is out for ADN, subscription customers, etc.,  There has been a developments in every domain of 3D within Autodesk Inventor.

It is amazing to see the way Autodesk has acquired few technologies / companies to support the customers using Autodesk Inventor both old and new and some of the tools that it provides to aid the visualization & design engineers is the add on tools like Alias, Mold flow, Algor, Inventor Plastic, iLogic (Logimetrix Inc), Design Accelerator, Stress Analysis (Plasso Tech).

Now, the next major release in Autodesk Inventor would be Inventor Fusion, learn more about it at http://Inventorfusion.com

So, are you now satisfied that you are in the safe hands of Autodesk, with new technologies coming from time to time, despite the fact that economy is going so low . . .

“Autodesk Inventor is truly a tool for future Inventors” Ofcourse I hope to see CAM being integrated into Inventor making it a truly  CAD/CAM/CAE tool of the future.
