Autodesk Inventor Productivity Tip – ONE

Keyboard Customize:

When you work with a complex project, you might tend to use some of the tools at a regular interval. To support this cause and ensure better productivity we can use Keyboard Customization process to reduce the time used to click on these tools.

How to Access:

Tools Tab > Options > Customize > Keyboard

Keyboard Customize

Now if we want to create a shortcut key for the command rectangle under sketch tab, click on categories and select sketch.

Now click on the rectangle option and type the letters RE as the shortcut key, you can type any character that is comfortable for you to remember. Also you can use the following combination of keys

Rectangle Shortcut key

Ctrl / Alt / shift / and any key combination including numbers

Ctrl + 5 or Ctrl +R

Ctrl + shift + Alt + 5 or Ctrl + shift + Alt + R

I hope this tip helps you increasing your productivity to a greater extent.
