In a previous article, we saw how to open the recent files within windows 7, but imagine when we have many files opened within Autodesk Inventor 2011, then it makes life bit difficult in finding where exactly the files are and opening the right files is an herculean task.
Don’t worry, there is a tip that you will appreciate and make use of it to open the right file using the Document Tab Tooltip Display . . .
Document tab tooltips display: when you hover over a file name on the bottom of the Inventor graphics window as pictured in the following example:
The visibility of the document tabs can be toggled on and off by activating or deactivating the Document Tabs check box. This check box can be found in the User Interface drop-down list which is located on the Windows panel of the View tab.
