Autodesk Moldflow PowerTrack
Autodesk Moldflow PowerTrack Brings Plastics Design Community Together at AU
The first Autodesk Moldflow PowerTrack was held this year at Autodesk University, allowing over 150 users and the Manufacturing team to network and exchange best practices. Companies such as Tyco Electronics, Bayer Material Science, Delphi, Ford, BE Aerospace, Samsung Electronics, Whirlpool, and Ticona benefited from the full AU experience and learned more about Autodesk Moldflow software. The events included:
- Bronze/Silver Certification Exams, led by Jay Shoemaker, Product Design Engineer, gave customers the opportunity to accelerate their professional development, improve productivity, and enhance their professional credibility.
- Plastics classes and lab sessions were attended by an average of 55 attendees.
- A Meet & Greet Reception allowed 75 guests to interact with developers and the Manufacturing executive team including Buzz Kross, Scott Reese, Brenda Discher, Tim Maloney, and the entire R&D Team.
- The Material Supplier Discussion Forum, moderated by Dr. Russell Speight, Senior Mgr, Principle Materials Engineer, and Dr. Franco Costa, SW Architect, Solver Technology, featured a discussion with 40 users about thelatest challenges, trends, and innovations affecting the plastics industry.
In the end, the Autodesk Moldflow PowerTrack strengthened the Autodesk connection to the plastics designcommunity and was an opportunity to demonstrate how Autodesk Moldflow software increases productivity.
