Autodesk Inventor 2013 Start Up Screen
In the last article, we did see how easy it is to install Inventor 2013. So now, I guess you might have installed. Let’s start Inventor 2013. There are many ways to start Inventor 2013, on your Windows machine, I would recommend you to create a shortcut icon on the desktop for those of you who are working with Inventor for the first time. Further those who are working on Inventor full time, I can also suggest (Optional) to make Inventor 2013 start when you start Windows
Now, let’s see how the Inventor 2013 startup screen will look like. See the image below . . .
The Startup Screen is divided into three segments.
Extend – – Sounds interesting !
The Work Tab – helps you to start working inside Inventor 2013., like Creating a new file, Opening files, and creating projects, also you preview recent files that were opened or from the projects files.
The Learn Tab – helps you to learn What’s new inside Inventor 2013, learn those interactive tutorials and also build you skills using the essential skills videos. Good Improvement on the learning front. I think, autodesk will one day bring in complete learning guide in videos, than the boring text based learning stuff.
The Extend Tab – is the new addition to Inventor 2013 product., its called the Autodesk Exchange and Autodesk 360., Autodesk Exchange – Helps you to share to the world those add-ins or apps you have creating for Autodesk Inventor, it could be video learning materials, ebooks, plugins just register at the apps store and start making your presence felt in the Inventor world. ” I will be adding a free video learning guide soon to the apps store ” so stay tuned to make complete use of the process. The Autodesk 360 is a new addition to the autodesk family., it enhances the collaboration in the cloud to solve your complex problems using autodesk servers and also get optimization process in place for your inventor analysis, I recommend you to visit these to get the maximum benefit from the process.
Note: You can either have these startup screen popup every time you start windows or unckeck the Display at Startup to ensure the screen does not start the next time you start inventor 2013.
