Origin plane display in Inventor 2013
Autodesk Inventor 2013 has many new enhancements. Over the next few weeks., I will be covering them before I move to Part Modeling for Inventor 2013 from July 2012.
The new enhancement: Display of Origin Plane in Autodesk Inventor 2013 , although this was not available in earlier release but provides a great time saving.
When we are into Part Modeling, the first step is to create a 2D Sketch. In order to sketch, we need to select a working plan such as XY / YZ / ZX.
[note]Access Origin Plane[/note]
Click on Create 2D Sketch > Access the 3 origin plane
In case you feel that this will be time consuming and you will always select the XY Plane for sketching., there is simple tip
Click on Tools > Application Options > Part > Sketch on new part creation
Now you can select the required Plane to make it as the default sketching plane in Inventor 2013. Quite a handy tip.
Survey: Based on a survey conducted., getting started with Inventor is just 4 hours for any new beginner.
