Skill: Mechanical Engineering Design
Country: Canada
Featuring: Joe Astroth

Joe Astroth, Ph.D. is the Vice President of Education and Learning. Joe is a 13 year veteran of Autodesk and formerly was a professor at the University of Missouri. Thus, he has walked in the shoes of his customers and brings a great deal of passion and experience to education at Autodesk.

Joe explains Autodesk’s involvement in the 40th WorldSkills Competition in Calgary and how they have made a solid commitment to the youth involved in WorldSkills Calgary 2009, the software users of the future and to education in general.

Joe encourages other organisations to get involved and make a long-standing contribution.
